Warranty, fees & shop policies

Please inspect and confirm each part before purchase. Warranty and return terms vary by part type, and all claims require the original invoice.

Deposits & Special Orders

Special-order parts require a minimum 50% cash deposit. Deposits are non-refundable on parts that have been ordered, sourced, acquired from another vendor, or cancelled after the order has been placed.

Engine Warranty

Engines include a 30-day parts-only warranty from the purchase date. Warranty is void if heat tabs are removed or altered. Installer must replace seals, gaskets, thermostat, water pump, spark plugs, and other maintenance items as needed.

Transmission Warranty

Transmissions include a 30-day parts-only warranty. Seals, gaskets, filters, and fluids are the installer’s responsibility. Fluid must be drained before any return.

Electrical Parts

Electrical parts, computers, navigation units, modules, and attached devices are sold as-is. A 3% credit-card fee applies, with a $5 minimum. Returned or uncollected checks are subject to a $35 fee.

Radiators & Misc. Parts

Radiators and miscellaneous parts include a 30-day parts-only warranty from the purchase date. All sales are final unless management approves a return.

Returns & Restocking

Parts returned because they are no longer needed are not automatically refundable. Management may approve a return, and approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50% of the amount paid.

Core Returns

Core refunds require the core to be returned within 30 days of purchase, intact and complete. Missing or disassembled cores may not qualify for reimbursement.

Axle Cores

If an axle core is not ready at delivery, the customer is responsible for returning the core to receive reimbursement. Axle cores must be returned within 30 days.

Fees

Environmental fee: $5. Delivery fee: $10. Credit-card fee: 3%, $5 minimum. Returned or uncollected checks: $35.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing from Global Auto Parts, the customer acknowledges that they inspected the item and agree to the applicable warranty, fee, return, and core policies.
